Few things, after yet another gap in posting.

I loaded the open beta for Lord fo The Rings Online last night on my 2ndary machine just to give it a run around the block. Load went smoothly. Open sequence good. Character creation, easy and obvious. Initial intro tutorial and quest was clear and engaging. A person totally new to MMORPG’s would have no problem. Graphics even on my back up machine were actually quite nice. So far it seems quite playable compared to another recent release which will remain nameless VANGUARD .

Started the broken quest to get registered for classes at the local community college. It really does remind me of a broken or very poorly written MMORPG quest. You talk to NPC’s, search for clues on the web, talk to more NPC’s get updates, talk to NPC’s find out your update was wrong or you accidentaly deleted / missued the item and have to go back and get another one. The whole process is designed to be very resistive.
