Angry Robot BooksProject 365 – Day 23
Untold is a game a friend developed (with a couple of other locals). I got a chance to provide some art for a couple of the cards and some writing for their website. As can be implied from the start of this project I am a gamer and have been since way back in high school, so getting published in a game was a big kick for me. This picture sorta of melds all those hobbies into one. Gaming, 3D and photography.
Project 365 – Day 22
Have been meaning to move my office upstairs for quite some
time but dreading the actual process. This was the primary culprit.
It is a pretty large and VERY heavy desk. Emptied, broken down into
3 parts and moved from the back of the house upstairs and ready to
roll now!
Project 365 – Day 20
I thought i would cheat and post a shot of my setup in my office for taking some of the close up pictures I have posted. It is foam core board with tracing paper and some really cheap lighting. a flashlight and also a little led flashlight for highlights.

I was playing with light a little here and less concerned with good depth of field. like the way the light ended up in this one, out of several shots. These are some more old family items. The Polaroid was a puzzle to open.
Project 365 – Day 18
Dusty Caps – Ran out of canned air so I could not blow this board off before I took some shots of it. This was using the +4 diopter, and that dirt just jumps right out at you. I really feel sorry for product photographers. They must need blasted clean rooms to keep from going insane.
Project 365 – Day 17
So I missed a couple of days, circumstances bounded up and said pffft. We had a nice foggy night tonight so I thought I would give trees and a street light a try. You would think the middle of January all the leaves would be down.
Project 365 – Day 14
Icicles are falling everywhere today. The temperatures have risen and this rather large one speared some leaves just to the side of the steps at the front of my porch. Reminded me of the 2 minute mystery where a man is found dead with a hole in the back of his head. He is inside a locked room with an open window. No blood, just a puddle of water on the floor.
Project 365 – Day 12
I’ve picked up these things called buckey balls, they are small very strong magnetic balls. Working with them, you can link them up in various shapes. The basic is this cube. I thought it might be slightly ironic to take a shot of silver balls since that object is sort of a cliche’ in the 3D world ( my other hobby/interest )
Project 365 – Day 11
Just me goofing at the bank waiting for a teller. Sort of a cop out today, but trying to maintain the one a day. Gets tough some days it seems :)
Project 365 – Day 9
On the way to work in the winter wasteland of Huntsville/Madison I was stopped by this train. It was kicking up some serious snow as it shot down the tracks.
