Project 365 – Day 47
Saw these popping up in the flower bed yesterday and today they had pushed up even further. Ready for spring just like the rest of us. Here is hoping we are done with the ice and sub freezing temps.
Project 365 – Day 39
Saw fairly perfect tread pattern in the partially melted snow left over when i returned to my car at lunch today. Grabbed a couple of shots with the iPhone, then processed it in Lo-Mob to give it that old Polaroid crime scene photo look.
Project 365 – Day 17
So I missed a couple of days, circumstances bounded up and said pffft. We had a nice foggy night tonight so I thought I would give trees and a street light a try. You would think the middle of January all the leaves would be down.
Project 365 – Day 14
Icicles are falling everywhere today. The temperatures have risen and this rather large one speared some leaves just to the side of the steps at the front of my porch. Reminded me of the 2 minute mystery where a man is found dead with a hole in the back of his head. He is inside a locked room with an open window. No blood, just a puddle of water on the floor.

Project 365 – Day 9
On the way to work in the winter wasteland of Huntsville/Madison I was stopped by this train. It was kicking up some serious snow as it shot down the tracks.
Recent Sunrise
Here is a recent shot I took with my iPhone of a nice sunrise on the way to work a couple of weeks ago. There is a larger copy up on Flickr
December Snow part 2

Another shot of the snow today, this time I played with Camera Bag and used the cinema filter. One of these days I’ll pop for a full on DSLR but for now, the iPhone and the software apps you can get to play with the pictures right on the phone are darned fun.
December Snow TiltShift

Woke to a little snow this morning, this is off the front porch. Once the sun gets a bit more of a foothold on the day it will be a damp memory, but fun to see once a year down here in ‘Bama.
I must confess
Hurricane season causes me to watch the weather channel more than any other time of year. It is interesting to see how accurate they are gonna be. Storm tracks and strengths, etc. It is also fairly engrossing when the actual power of mother nature gets captured for us all to see. Well I just found a really really nice website that blows away weather.com for tracking storms.
